PHILIPPE PRIASSO
Choreographer, pedagogical manager

From 1978 to 1981, Philippe PRIASSO studied and danced in the company of the Centre National de Danse Contemporaine, managed at the time by Alwin NIKOLAÏS, and cofounded the company BEAU GESTE in September 1981. He participated in the creation of all the company’s pieces while at the same time leading a personal work project, creating Dédicace à Marie de France (trio 1987), Récital, Danses singulières (solo 1987), and Follis (group piece 1989). In 2000 he choreographed the production of Oliver ! for the Justiniana ensemble, and Happy End for Jean LACORNERIE.

In 2003 he worked on the duo Profilactif with Isira MAKULOLUWE from the Company Vivid Danse; in 2005 he created the solo Point(s) de fuite and in 2006 the educational performance La Répétition.

He performs in Transports Exceptionnels, which is a piece for a mechanical digger and a dancer, choreographed by Dominique BOIVIN.
