CHRISTINE ERBé Choreographer, Artistic Collaborator

After being trained in classical dance in Monaco then in Cannes, she joined the Centre National de Danse Contemporaine managed by Alwin NIKOLAÏS. In 1981 she was a founding member of the Company Beau Geste where she initially participated in the creations as a performer and choreographer, before heading towards the conception and staging of the company’s artistic projects.

At the same time, she assisted Dominique BOIVIN on different productions, notably Casse-Noisette for the Ballet of the Opéra National de Lyon, and created a small exposition on the history of dance, L’A-musée de la danse.

In 2005 she created the project Ze Bal !, a soirée / performance with the theme of film musicals, where the public is invited to try some dance arrangements taken from musicals.

She is the author of the ‘Agenda de la Danse’, resulting from her research work for the creation of the ‘A-musée de la danse’ and edited by the Centre National de la Danse.
